    Maybe if this rant were played in the theaters before every movie people would listen better.

  2. perla Says:

    Jack, rant about people who drive super slow in the fast lane. And they have a line of cars behind them, but they wont movie. Aaarrggg! Hate those people!!

  3. Sue (from Canada) Says:

    Can’t get enough of Jack’s rants — Kudos on the editing — makes it even more ‘rantish!’.

    Keep up the great work — give ‘em hell Jack!!!

  4. Shareema Says:

    SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO True maybe next time you should do one about the idiots who bring there kids to rated R movies at 10pm on a friday and saturday night

  5. jlyn1980 Says:

    I agree with this one. I hate when people pull out the phones at theaters, why pay that much for a movie if you just going to talk on the phone.

    I also like Shareema’s suggestion. I saw too many kids at Watchmen, NOT A KIDS MOVIE.

  6. cindy Says:

    Hey Jack - have you heard of speakerphone abuse? It’s when someone talks LOUDLY on their speakerphone (also with the volume cranked up). There’s a habitual offender living in my household who would even do this through dinner. That’s right. Instead of talking to anyone at the table, they would talk through the entire meal to the person on the phone. When I say loudly, I mean you can hear them in another room. With the door closed. Though headphones.

  7. Beverley Says:

    No kidding Jack, where are people’s manner’s anymore.
    I love it when in the store someone is talking on a Blue tooth and I think they are either talking to themselves or they are asking me something.

  8. Mike Z Says:

    Man jack, once again you whine way too much & by the way Jack when you get up to go outside and answer your cell phone you interupt me sitting on the isle. now I have to move my legs so that you can get thru to answer your call. Sit your but down & call the person back after the movie is over. & by the way Take off the hat. You are inside.

  9. Jack Says:

    Hey Mike,

    I always take the isle seat.

  10. Tha Kid Says:

    That didn’t make sense. I thought you were going to rant on ring tones.

    The title should’ve been don’t talk on your cell phone at the movies.

    I actually get more pissed if I have to move for someone getting out of their seat to go to the lobby than if someone is talking for a couple mins (especially if it’s during the movie). Then you have to get up for them again when they come back in.

    There should be a no re-entry rule for after the movies starts. Go to the bathroom and get snacks before the movie starts.

  11. Marcus Says:

    Another great rant. What’s up your sleeve next?

  12. w Says:

    Cellphones in movie theaters are one of my biggest pet peeves.
    I have a friend who I have to lecture before a movie because she likes to check the time on her phone during the movie. I don’t get it. If it’s a certain time is she going to have to leave? Does she have a curfew? Somewhere else to be? No. So why light up your phone and distract me and probably quite a few others just to check something pointless?

  13. Colleen Says:

    Tha Kid,

    I think the title comes from the announcements that say “Please silence your cell phones.”

  14. HoJoe Says:

    Mike Z sounds like a dick. Chill out man.

  15. m74 Says:

    I think the issue is that so many people are either lonely or have low self-esteem. You can especially notice this in people who actually get mad when you don’t pick up your cellphone. As if one were obligated to do so!

  16. dx3m1 Says:

    I still think if ya do a couple of
    ~~~~(//////)’s B4 U go in ,”all your cares go up in smoke”
    :)
  17. Jenny Says:
    Hey Jack, what about people who text during the movie. I get more annoyed with people who do that. Their cell phone lights up when they’re texting and it can get very distracting. I was in a movie once where someone was waving his lighted up cell phone from the front of the theater to someone who was sitting in the back of the theater during the movie!! People are just rude.
    Oh and you should do a rant on people who bring their little children or babies to a movie (I understand if it’s a children’s movie, but not for anything else). I was at a horror film once when these people brought their little 8 and 5 year old to the movie AND the kids yelled all throughout the film!!
  18. Katie Says:
    I never had that happen. I have seen people text message before in the show, but never any one talking on the cell when the movie was going. My problem is people talking and still talk durning the movie, people going to the show who are sick and are couching and sneezing all over the person in front of them (If you are sick, stay home), and people who get up a millions times during the show.
  19. hab Says:
    Not to be a jerk or anything… but Jay, were you listening to this track when you wrote the music for this segment? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xt1bjJEdo4
    p.s. Jack I enjoy your rants.
  20. Jay Says:
    The music is just stock music that Clif found when he was editing together the original segment
  21. Tinythebodyguard Says:
    Good rant Jack, I get a kick out of listening to these. Short, to the point and all pretty much true. Keep it up bro!
    Oh and Mike Z got back to youtube you stupid hater! And learn how to spell Aisle you F**king idiot! Isle is a freaking Inland.
    Amen. I just bought a cellphone jammer. it fits in my wife’s purse and it spreads for up to 25 yards. I always sit in the middle of the theater so it clogs the cell signals to all the phones around me no problem. Best 50 bucks I’ve ever spent.
